People who are in love with the idea of being smart, so they think they're smart, but they're not. Typically heavily into "science programming" but don't even understand the principles of science. Giddy over science/etc but don't have much understanding of anything. Just Googled a lot of "answers" taking the first thing that sounds like an answer on a science site as gospel. You can be an expert on a topic but they're so proud of themselves for "liking smart things" that their Google search overrides you.
